Kyrgyz Central Asia Energy Company in cooperation with Jalal-Abad State University
On June 10th, Mr. Zhang Daofu, President of Central Asia Energy Company and Suinariyevna, Dean of Jalal-Abad State University's Kochkorada Institute, signed a cooperation agreement to strengthen cooperation in the efforts of “enterprises; universities and research institutions” and to train highly qualified oil and gas industry personnel with both theoretical knowledge and practical experience for Kyrgyzstan.
Established in 2013, Central Asia Energy LLC is a Chinese-invested enterprise in oil and gas exploration and exploitation, and the most large-scale enterprise in oil and gas development in Kyrgyzstan.
With a total investment of US$200 million, the company is staffed mostly by professionals who have long been engaged in the oil and gas exploration and development industry, with more than 80 first-class and highly qualified professional and technical staff in China and over 600 employees.
Central Asia Energy LLC cooperates with the Kyrgyzneftegaz in oil and gas exploration projects and owns eight oil and gas field exploration and prospecting licenses in Kyrgyzstan. The company currently drills 190 wells and already has an annual production capacity of 200,000 tonnes of crude oil. It is currently the highest foreign-owned company in Kyrgyzstan in terms of oil and gas production.
