Anhui Guangda and GCL-Poly Gas sign cooperation agreement for exploration and development of oil and gas blocks in Ethiopia
On 5 March 2021, Anhui Guangd and GCL-Poly Gas signed a cooperation agreement in Beijing on the exploration and development of oil and gas blocks in Ethiopia; President of Anhui Guangda, Mr. Zhang Daofu, and President of GCL-Poly Gas, Mr. Wang Lin, attended together.
The Ethiopia oil and gas block is located in the Ogaden Basin of Ethiopia, with a total exploration and development area of 120,000 square kilometers, with crude oil resources of 4 billion tonnes and natural gas resources of 5 trillion cubic meters in the contract area. The current development area is 969 square kilometers, with proven gas reserves of 120 billion cubic meters and crude oil reserves of 46 million tonnes.
